Sarah Greenwell, Assistant Psychologist

Sarah joined the Gate Psychological Services team in April 2022.

Having achieved Distinction in her MSc Psychology, Sarah graduated from Northumbria University in 2014. In her first role she worked in a school in Newcastle, developing a programme to provide psychological support for young people with special educational needs, disabilities and social, emotional and mental health needs.  She then supported the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Teesside University as an Assistant Psychologist for a short time, before training as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in 2017.  She continues to work part time in this role to this day.

Sarah is interested in working with young people and families from the perinatal period onwards and is keen to return to this area of interest while working with us at Gate Psychological Services. Sarah is interested in the way therapy and psychoeducation can improve the mental health of future generations.

She hopes to train as a Clinical Psychologist in the future.
